Tax bills were mailed the last week of August. Tax collection will occur from September 1-October 31. Payments made between September 1 and September 30 will incur no penalty. Payments made between October 1 and October 31 will incur a penalty of 2%. Any bills still outstanding at that point in time will be turned over to the county for collection. 

Tax bills may be paid by mail, in-person, or by credit card. Five Star Bank will collect those payments made by mail or in-person. If paying by mail, payments should be sent to Avoca Central School, PO Box 168, Warsaw, NY  14569.  If paying in-person, tax bills may be paid at any Five Star Bank location. Tax payers paying in cash may be subject to a $6 bank fee.  The Five Star Bank branch in Bath will also offer a dropbox to permit the payment of tax bills after normal banking hours. MuniciPAY will collect those tax payments made by credit card.
