The Southern Tier Central Regional Planning in partnership with the Development Board, Pro Action is conducting a survey related to child care needs, preferences and impacts.
On January 18, 2022, there will be a takeout spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the Avoca Sophomore class of 2024. Tickets can be purchased until January 14, 2022, for $12 each from any Avoca sophomore student.
As Avoca looks to fill the vacancy, the district is seeking community members to participate in the interview process. Anyone interested in serving on the upcoming interview committees is asked to complete a Google form on the Avoca CSD website.
Effective immediately, Avoca Central School District will implement the Test to Stay (TTS) protocols issued by Steuben County on November 1, 2021. This will allow students who come in contact with a positive case an alternative to having to quarantine for 10 days. To take part in TTS, students need to be symptom free and a parent/guardian must sign a form granting permission for the student to be tested each morning.
No student shall be subjected to harassment by employees or students on school property or at a school function; nor shall any student be subjected to discrimination based on a person's actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex by school employees or students on school property or at a school function.
