The Dignity Act's underlying premise is that preventive and non-punitive intervention, in response to incidents of discrimination and /or harassment, is the best way to achieve school environments free from harassment and discrimination.
The Avoca CSD is seeking interested candidates for the positions of school bus driver substitutes and a school bus attendant. The application is available on the school website and can be submitted to: Avoca CSD Transportation Supervisor, PO box G, Avoca, NY 14809
School tax bills will be mailed by September 2, 2014. Collection will begin September 3, 2014 through October 3, 2014. Beginning October 4, 2014 through October 31, 2014 there will be a 2% penalty added. This year school tax payments will be collected in the Bus Garage. Taxes will be collected on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. only. You may also mail your payment to the address listed on your tax bill.
