    A Message from Mrs. Buisch

It’s hard to imagine that here we are finishing the first week of a new school year.  I hope our Avoca families and staff have had an opportunity to relax and regroup this summer to be ready.  I had an opportunity to read a wonderful book this summer called Thrivers, by Michele Borba, Ed.D.  It opened up some very thought provoking ideas for me and I am hoping to take this year to share them with the families and staff of Avoca CSD!

Each week I will send out an idea from the book for you to consider, practice and reflect on.  I am hoping to have accompanying videos to keep things interesting and relevant.
