    White Out Games and Soccer Banner Unveiling 

    On Friday, January 31st we will have our annual "white out" games for our JV and varsity basketball games vs. Prattsburgh. The JV game begins at 5:45 and the varsity game begins at 7:15. You're invited to wear a white shirt and participate! In between the two games, we will be unveiling the girls soccer banners.  

    Game Broadcast

    WABH will be broadcasting the Prattsburgh at Avoca Boys Varsity Basketball game on Friday, January 31st. Pre game at 7 PM. The game will be streamed on 1380wabh.com. With the FREE Tunein app, just download the app and look up "WABH" and on AM1380 and 100.3FM WABH.

    Sports Booster School Spiritwear

    The Avoca Sports Boosters is currently selling spiritwear. Items are branded as Avoca Tigers, or Avoca/Prattsburgh. The online store will close on February 1st! Check out the online spiritwear store here.

    Locker Replacement

    Over the mid-winter recess in February the lockers for students in grades 6-12 will be replaced. Students will need to empty their lockers before the school break. More information will follow as we get closer. Students may wish to bring in a duffle bag, or reusable shopping bag to store their locker items in a classroom over the break. 

    Doctoral Research - Participants Needed

    Each year students from the graduate program in School Psychology at Alfred University work with Mrs. Buisch.  Many of those students go on to pursue a doctoral dissertation. Research on a given topic is needed as part of that process.  Please consider helping a current student by following the link below.  

    Parents/Guardians with students in K-8: You could win a $50 gift certificate to Walmart while contributing to research on parenting and child behavior! Your participation will take 15-20 minutes. Please follow this link for more information
