    Terrific Tigers

    • Congratulations to the Avoca Quiz Bowl Team for their big win over Southwestern last night. The final score was 25-15. Great job!

    Winter Storm Harper Closing and Cancellations

    • Vocal Solo Festival hosted at Avoca will close at noon.
    • 6th Grade Instrumental Solo Festival at Addison has been canceled.
    • Ski Club for Saturday has been canceled.
    • Indoor Track for Saturday at Houghton has been canceled.
    • Girls JV & Varsity Basketball at Addison on Saturday has been canceled.
    • Girls Modified Basketball at Arkport on Saturday has been canceled.
    • Avoca Central School campus is closed from noon on Saturday to 11pm Monday. 

    January Regents Exams

    On January 22-January 24, some students will be taking New York State Regents Exams. Students taking exams will be excused from their classes during the exam period. Any students not taking Regents will follow their normal schedule for the week. Exams: Tuesday, January 22nd @8:15am-Junior English Language Arts, Wednesday, January 23rd @12:15pm-Algebra I, Thursday, January 24th @8:15am-Transition in Global History and Government.

    Community Program: Avoca Free Library Activities

    Permission slips are available in the office for students interested in riding the bus to the Avoca Free Library. Tuesdays are "Creative Corner" making and designing fun crafts from 3-5pm. Thursdays are "Boredom Busters" with trivia contests, STEM creations, and escape rooms from 3-5pm.
